It is not about how many breaths we take, but rather how many moments take our breath away.

— Never postpone.

Marat Hasanov

Marat Hasanov’s photography journey began in the 90s when, as a child, he documented his life using two cameras: one film and one Polaroid.

At the age of 15, during a student exchange program in the USA, Marat encountered one of the first digital cameras, the Sony MVC-FD7, which used floppy disks to store photos. This encounter sparked his interest in digital photography.

Journey

In 2003, while living and studying in New Zealand, Marat purchased his first DSLR. This camera became his constant companion for the next decade as he moved from country to country for both personal and career-related reasons.
